Scholarships

1. Who can apply for a scholarship?

Students from all countries can apply for a scholarship by submitting their application before 31 January. Please check the following page for details about the rules for allocating scholarships.

2. When will you tell me the result of my scholarship application?

Scholarships results will be announced in April after the Selection committee. The students likely to be awarded a scholarship will be ranked into two lists: main list, reserve list. The main list students are awarded a Consortium scholarship (reduction of tuition fees), students on top of the reserve list can be upgraded to the main list if students from the main list withdraw.

3. I am on the reserve list for a scholarship: what are my chances of actually being awarded a scholarship?

We cannot answer this question. Students on the reserve list may be awarded a scholarship only to replace a student who has withdrawn from the main list. Upgrades from reserve to main list are notified by email.

4. I see that E-PiCo is an Erasmus Mundus Master, will there be Erasmus Mundus Scholarships for the 2024-2026 intake?

E-PiCo was selected in 2019 as Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree, with a grant to cover 4 intakes of student scholarships. The last intake to receive Erasmus Mundus Scholarships under EU fundings is the 2023-2025 intake. In the event of a new call for EMJM proposal, our consortium will apply to renew its funding starting with the 2025-2027 intake, but neither the call for proposal, nor proposal selection are guaranteed at this stage.
