1. Is an English language certificate mandatory?
If you studied on an English speaking academic programme, you are eligible without producing an English Test Certificate. However, submitting a certificate can add value to your application and improve your ranking during the selection. Students who completed their studies in the countries listed below are exempt from submitting a language certificate: Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, English-speaking Canada, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, Republic of Ireland, Jamaica, Kiribati, Liberia, Mauritius, Micronesia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, St. Kitts-Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom, United States of America, Zambia or Zimbabwe.
2. What are the minimum scores required?
- IELTS: 6.5 - IELTS online test is accepted
- TOEFL: paper based: 550, computer based: 220, Internet based: 80 - TOEFL home edition is accepted
- Cambridge B2 First test: 173 or higher
- Cambridge C1 Advanced test: 160 or higher
- TOEIC: 800
3. For standardized test reporting (TOEFL, GRE), what is the school code for Ecole Centrale de Nantes?
- TOEFL: 5722 Department graduate school
- GRE: 2699
Applicants who have a GRE test result can submit it optionally. But the GRE cannot replace the English Language Test Certificate requirement.
