The 2025 Erasmus Mundus Annual Conference took place on 20–21 November 2025 at the EGG Brussels. Prof. Madalin-Corneliu FRUNZETE of the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest (UNSTPB) was present representing the E-PiCo+ Consortium.

This year’s theme, “The Sustainability of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Programmes,” focused on ensuring the long-term viability and excellence of Erasmus Mundus programmes beyond EU-funded cycles. Participants explored financial, institutional and academic dimensions of sustainability through expert panels, case studies and interactive sessions. The event offers a platform for sharing strategies, discussing challenges, and co-developing solutions.

The conference brought together more than 200 participants, including experienced academics and representatives of well-established Erasmus Mundus projects. They gathered to discuss sustainability of Joint Masters, and share best practices.
